STAGEHANDS AND PROJECTIONISTS

Independent Theatrical Employees of America (ITEA) Stagehands Local #1 are required to work all Stanley Theatre events. The calls and rates on the accompanying sheet are established by Local #1. All presenters are responsible for all other related employment expenses, including paying FICA taxes, writing payroll checks, and paying and reporting all related taxes including New York State Unemployment taxes. The Stanley Theatre has an agreement with a company to be the “Employer of Record” and take on all these requirements.

PROSCENIUM OPENING

  • Height: 30’ Width: 57’-6”
  • Smoke pocket to back wall: 50’ – 3” (stage depth)

STAGE WIDTH

  • Wall to wall is 119’ – 1”.
  • SR wall to centerline is 55’ – 9”
  • SL wall to centerline is 63’ – 4”
  • Pin and Locking Rail is on Stage Right.

ORCHESTRA PIT

  • 12’x 40’; motorized (Gala lifts). May be used at any level from stage level to 8”-6”’ below the stage.
  • Apron overhangs US wall of pit 7’-0”

LOADING DOCK

Two docks Stage Left.

  • Trucks back into loading dock from Genesee Street.
  • Access from the dock to stage is through a door 13” -6” high by 12’ wide.
  • Distance from the dock to security gates is 139’-6”.

FOLLOW SPOTS

PROJECTION BOOTH

  • Booth behind the balcony.
  • There is room in the booth for a maximum of four spots.
  • 155’ throw from the booth to curtain line.
  • Power: 2 single-phase, 30 amp breakers.

FRONT OF HOUSE POSITIONS

  • First Balcony Rail. 25’ wide pipe, 53’ to the proscenium.

FLY SYSTEM

  • Single Purchase Counterweight
  • 71,000# bricks above pipe weight.
  • 52 sets at 6 inch on center with 5 lift lines per set.
  • Grid height is 75’ – 3”
  • Arbors are 1,820 lb capacity.

Flat black velour masking consists of:

  • Black portal set that masks stage opening down to 30’ wide by 18’ high.
  • 5 pairs of legs 16’-6” wide by 32’-0” high
  • 5 borders 59’-0” wide by 10’-0” high
  • 1 border 59’-0” wide by 15’-0” high
  • 6 side tabs 12’-0” wide by 27’-0” high
  • Rear black backdrop 60’ wide by 32’ high (2 sections)

PLATFORMS

  • Conductor’s podium is available.

WARDROBE:

  • Mezzanine Level: 2 Washer and Dryers

SOUND

  • ProMix House sound reinforcement system with balcony cluster, under balcony delay speakers, side fills and front of the stage.
  • FM transmitter for hearing impaired use.

MIX POSITIONS

  • Road Console may be located 28’-30’ House Left of center on the aisle
    of the orchestra seating section.
  • Run of show position in the rear: back of orchestra 55’-0” under-balcony 110’ from the stage. 42 seats removed approx. 24’W x 8’D wall behind.
  • Rehearsal / set up position in orch center: mid orchestra in front of the balcony, 53’-0” from stage approx 15’W x 7’D.(rows O and N) audience behind.
