An Evening With Stephen Fletcher
The Stanley Theatre will open its doors to celebrate a talented local artist on April 7 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. “An Evening With Stephen Fletcher” will bring the Utica-based artist to the theatre to display his various works of theatre-commissioned art in the lobby.
“When Lisa Wilsey, The Stanley Theatre’s Executive Director, approached me about being the House Artist, I was completely taken aback and extremely honored,” Fletcher said. “To be a part of this historic theatre and contribute through my art is a dream that I never expected to come true. I am very excited and looking forward to the event on April 7th, where I will share the paintings I have created for the venue, inspired by the venue.”
Patrons can expect passed hors-d’oeuvres, catered by Patrick O’Connor of Feast and Festivities, as well as a cash bar offering specialty cocktails and other beverages. Gabe Altamuro, also known as DJ Ease One, will be providing music for the event. Stephen Fletcher’s other artworks, as well as his book, will also be available for purchase.
Tickets are limited for this event and can be purchased on Ticketmaster.com or by calling The Stanley Theatre Box Office at 315-724-4000. Proceeds from this event will benefit The Stanley Theatre. $10 in advance; $15 at the door.
