The Beauty Of The Stanley

Dubbed “Mexican Baroque”, The Stanley’s design features include a gold leaf interior and terra cotta and tiled mosaic on the exterior façade, which calls to mind the Mexican influence, while ornate gilded Habsburg lions, Indian faces, angels and cherubs featured in the interior are common Baroque motifs.

It has a grand entry staircase that resembles the main staircase on the Titanic, and Moorish influence is also evident in the sprinkling of stars covering the domed ceiling and the twisted columns flanking the stage.
